Fostering Self-Regulation in Kindergarten

Fostering Self-Regulation in Kindergarten is a workshop offered in partnership with ETFO Provincial.
In this interactive program, educators will explore how self-regulation is helpful in understanding children, the power and importance of relationships, and how to foster self-regulation through classroom practice. Additionally, the workshop will deepen educators’ knowledge as they consider current research and best practices in the early years.
Morning Session: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. OR Afternoon Session: 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.

The Local will be offering a variety of workshops throughout the year to support members in their professional and union roles. Please note that members who attend a workshop with release time will not be eligible for additional release-time workshops for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year!
As we continue to develop topics based on member feedback and priorities, we ask that you register for this session only if it aligns with and supports your current role. This helps to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in workshops most relevant to their work and interests.
