Workplace Steward Meeting

Meeting Details:

• Date:  Tuesday, September 29, 2026
• Time:  Registration and Light Dinner at 4:30 p.m., Meeting at 5:00 p.m.
• Location: ETFO Thames Valley Teacher Local, 2911 Bateman Trail, London
• Attendees:
  • The Workplace Steward or Alternate from each workplace and Executive Members.
  • Please register on-line (select ‘Workplace Stewards’ Meeting’) by 12:00 noon, Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
  • For cancellation, please notify ETFO Thames Valley Teacher Local by Friday, September 25, 2026.
• Objective: To strengthen and support the role of Workplace Stewards.  
• Desired Outcome: Clear plans, actionable tasks, stronger connection between the Local and our schools.
• Questions we will answer together:
  • What does the bargaining landscape look like?
  • How will I share Local information with colleagues?
  • How will my role change during collective bargaining?
  • What role do I have in supporting the collective agreement?
• Walkaway Question: What did I learn tonight, and how can I use it to inform and support my colleagues as a Workplace Steward?

How to Prepare:

• Bring your staff’s questions and get ready for conversation, smiles, and some food too!
