# What We Do The ETFO Thames Valley Teacher Local engages, supports, and represents all Teachers in pursuing the collective goals of our Local and Union. **Core Priorities** To actively pursue collective bargaining rights of all Members, to defend Members’ working conditions, to serve the needs of the Members, and to promote and protect the health and safety of Members. **Core Responsibilities** To defend and promote publicly-funded education, to actively engage Members in the Federation, and to provide for the professional development of Members. **Core Values** To advocate for social justice in the areas of peace, anti-poverty, nonviolence, and equity, to promote the care and protection of the environment, and to support international assistance and co-operation in promoting education and unionism.
